TATTOO
AFTERCARE

︎ Phase 1:

The saniderm bandage will wear off in 3-5 days,Fluid build up is normal, make sure to remove the bandage before the 7 day mark.
If the bandage begins to fall off before the first days, remove it clean with antibacterial soap pat dry And reapply a new one if possible. (Contact me immediately with any problems or concerns) When removing, make sure to have very clean hands and gently pull the bandage off at angle against the hair grain, Applying coconut oil around the edges may help the process. NEVER force or rip off the bandage.

NEVER pick, scratch or submerge healing tattoo in water, SHOWERS ONLY. BEWARE of pet dandruff, dirt, direct sunlight, heavy working out or excessive sweating.

Carry out this routine for 10-14 days.
Thank you, I appreciate you, have a happy healing!

PIERCING
AFTERCARE

︎ EVERYBODY'S BODY HEALS DIFFERENTLY. NOT EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE.

01. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PIERCING.
The only time you will touch your piercing is when you are cleaning it, with clean hands.

02. DO NOT SLEEP ON YOUR JEWELRY .
Sleeping or laying down on your healing piercing can either irritate it or cause it to take longer to heal.

03. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR JEWELRY.
New piercings can shrink immediately once the jewelry is removed, making it painful or impossible to get it back in.

︎ WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS

  • Bleeding, bruising, and/or swelling are fairly common with a new piercing.

  • Some tenderness or discomfort in the area of a new piercing can be expected for several days or longer. Discoloration (redness) and itching during healing process are fairly common.

  • Secretion of a whitish-yellow fluid (not pus) is part of the healing process and is to be expected. It is liquid when it leaves the body but dries into “crusties.”

  • Piercings will go through good times and bad times while healing. They may seem healed for a bit, and then get back to discomfort. The key is to continue with the cleaning routine throughout initial healing time.

  • Piercings (including healed piercings) that are not cleaned daily may smell unpleasant. This does not necessarily indicate a problem.

︎ OBTAIN A SALINE WOUND WASH

  • Makesurehandsarewashedandclean

  • Youcansoakthepiercinginthesolutionandoruseawellsoakedqtiptocleanthefront and the back side

  • Make sure you are clearing out the dried blood or any bodily fluid that may form. If your jewelry is threaded (barbells, etc.) check to make sure it’s still tight. Remember “righty tighty, lefty loosey.”
